Program/Service Notes:
a Federal/State program that was established in 1971 to protect the interest of a child whose parent is absent from home and fails to meet the responsibility of providing financial support. The following services are offered: 1) establishment of paternity 2) securement of a court order for payment of child support 3) enforcement of an existing support order 4) enforcement or securement of a support order in another state 5) aid in locating non-supporting absent parent. Other services the Child Support Division may also provide are 1) immediate income withholding order 2) property lien 3) tax intercepts 4) modification of support orders 5) report to credit bureau, and 6) order to suspend
