Program/Service Notes:
Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an educational program designed to increase parents' feelings of confidence and competence as teachers of their children and to increase knowledge of child development. A trained Parent Educator visits the home, helping parents to become their child's first BEST teacher. PAT is offered to families in the Healthy Families Program, as well as other programs throughout LaPorte County. Early learning and enrichment playgroups are offered for families in several locations each month.
